Michele's expertise is in designing educational materials. She relies on her
knowledge of learning and instructional theories and academic performance
standards, as well as her teaching experience and creativity to design

Professional Development and Training
As a professional developer and trainer, Michele has created participatory
curricula and workshops on topics ranging from HIV/AIDS to civic education.
Her clients have included healthcare professionals and consumers, classroom
teachers and community educators. Building on adult learning and
collaborative/project-based learning principles, Michele addresses varied
subjects and turns complex concepts into user-friendly materials. As a
trainer, she delivers content in a uniquely engaging fashion.
Organizational Development
Michele assists organizations in assessing and implementing effective
programming for their constituents. In that capacity, she undertakes various
organizational development efforts, including strategic planning,
qualitative and needs assessments, technical assistance and project
management.
Grant Writing
Grant writing is a highlight of Michele's organizational development
services. She has written many successful proposals that have achieved
awards as high as $1 million for critical nonprofit offerings. Michele
conducts research, undertakes needs assessments, solicits funders, frames
programs and generates comprehensive proposals, including budgets and
timelines.
